Martina Hansson studied law at Uppsala University and obtained her law degree in 1994. In the same year, she began her notarial service at Örebro District Court, which she left early to take up a position as an associate at a law firm in Stockholm specializing in family law and private law disputes.
She worked there until 2010. For a short period in the early 2000s, Martina was employed as a construction contract lawyer at Stockholms Byggmästareförening (a trade organization for construction companies in Stockholm). In 2001 Martina became a member of the Swedish Bar Association.
During the years 2010 - 2024, Martina has practiced law in her own right, focusing on criminal cases and economic family law.
Martina undertakes assignments as a defense lawyer (including financial crime), counsel for the paintiff and special representative for children in criminal cases.
