Klara Mtuya studied and obtained her law degree at Uppsala University, with specialized courses in criminal law, international procedure and EU-law. Additionally, as part of the law program, she studied one semester at Trinity College in Dublin, Irland. In parallel with her studies Klara completed her internship at Olsson Lilja Attorneys.
After her studies, Klara worked at a business law firm and then at another human rights law firm in Stockholm. In January 2025, she joined Olsson Lilja Attorneys.
Klara works in all areas of the firm, which means that she undertakes assignments as private defence counsel, counsel for injured parties and special representative for children in criminal cases, as well as counsel in cases concerning family law, migration law and social law (LVU, LVM, LPT and LRV).
Klara speaks Swedish and English.
